MY FAVOURITE WELLNESS HACKS TO LOSE WEIGHT NATURALLY

Many fad diets suggest high protein and few or no carbohydrates, such as rice or potatoes, because  protein can be harder to digest and metabolise, which makes you feel fuller longer and therefore releases its energy more slowly.

This diet isn’t a good long-term weight-loss strategy, as too much protein  makes the blood  and tissues too acid, and can become a high-risk  factor for osteoporosis or chronic health ailment in later life. Excess protein places  great burden on the kidney, metabolism becomes imbalanced and the saturated fat that accompanies  animal protein can increase the risk of heart disease.

1. ADD VARIETY TO YOUR DIET

A far better diet approach is to eat as great variety of foods as possible, eat more probiotic fruit and vegetables like paw paw and to make a life long change to your diet, whilst cutting down on wheat-based , white starchy food is more realistic  and helps you keep the weight off for longer.

2. BECOME A TEA ADDICT

Another hack is drinking herbal teas and at least 6-8 glasses of water a day . Water suppress appetite and during exercise as you burn body fats, it’s important to stay hydrated because as you burn that fatty cell, a space is created , so water fills up that space , thus preventing  further fat depositing in the body. So it’s important to stay hydrated. Finally,  water reduces  water retention and encourages  toxins to be flushed out of the body .

3. REPEAT STEPS 1 AND 2 CONSISTENTLY

You cannot achieve goals when you are not diligent at maintaining routine! We say be honest with yourself and your body will thank you for it. Say no to certain foods this season, drink more mocktails and water at parties. Find alternatives that make you walk around more or do cardio activities. Keep at it!
